Stretching on Yoga Mat

bEGINNER

A matwork class suitable for all ages and complete beginners.  The only requirement is that you are able to get up and down off the floor. Beginner classes last for one hour. 

Yoga Class

Chair / standing class

This class is suitable for people who want the benefits of Pilates but have difficulty getting up and down off the floor.  The same pilates principles apply throughout all the exercises. This is a 45 minute class.

Pilates Class

Improver

To progress to an improver class you must have a a good grasp of the five key points and be able to get into double tabletop. This class will last for one hour. 

Pilates Stretches

Intermediate

A matwork class suitable for all participants who have completed 4 or more blocks of Pilates and are proficient at double table top.  This class lasts for one hour.

So glad that I made the leap and joined this class. I was concerned as I hadn’t done anything like this for a long time. However Julie is a fabulous instructor, she explains every exercise/movement beforehand and provides a demonstration. The class is small which is great as this means Julie can check what everyone is doing and makes corrections to ensure the exercises are done safely and correctly.

Julie's class is ideal for a Pilates beginner like me and is pitched at just the right level fro someone unused to the techniques and needing to gain suppleness and flexibility. I'd recommend her classes especially as I'm (frequently) the only man there and I have always felt welcomed and accepted.
