OUR EXPERIENCE

 Physiotherapy led Pilates
Bangor, Northern Ireland

ABOUT ME

Julie Edler BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy

I began my Pilates journey in 2012 when completing my Matwork level 1, 2 and 3, becoming a fully certified APPI Pilates instructor.  I began teaching classes which very quickly grew to teaching 6 classes a week alongside working as a private physiotherapist.

In 2016, my family moved to Haiti where I worked at a medical clinic setting up and developing the physiotherapy department.  Although I was not teaching classes during this time, Pilates continued to be an essential part of my work - supporting patients to build strength, improve mobility and manage their pain.

We returned to Northern Ireland  in 2022 and I restarted my classes in 2023.  I love teaching Pilates because it offers a such a simple, effective way for people to manage pain, improve posture, mobility and overall wellbeing.  I enjoy having small classes where I can get to know each person and tailor the class to their needs.

As a bonus - I get to enjoy all the benefits of Pilates myself while teaching!
